The Ashford Instrumentation 100mm diameter plant room thermometer with rubber coated capillary allows the thermometer case to be located a short distance from the tapping or measuring point. This remote mounting enables the thermometer case to be surface mounted on a suitable wall or bracket in a more accessible position to make reading easier.
This low cost thermometer is readymade in three standard temperature ranges with a fixed capillary length of 1.5 meters of rubber coated capillary. The thermometer is supplied with a 50mm (2") brass thermowell as standard or with an optional 100mm (4") brass thermowell, both feature a 1/2"BSP male process connection.
The thermometer is configured with a stainless steel case with the capillary exiting the case from the bottom (6 o'clock) position. A surface mount stainless steel 3-hole back flange for remote surface mounting is fixed to the case. The measuring sensor is retained in the thermowell with a capillary clip which fixes the capillary bulb into position in the thermowell.
