Actuated Butterfly Valve - Lugged & Flanged

Actuated lugged or flanged butterfly valve in sizes from 2" to 12" with a maximum pressure rating up to16 bar. Butterfly valves can be used for isolating or regulating flow using a disc that is rotated within the process flow reducing the bore size.

Operation is similar to that of a ball valve which allows for fast shut off. Butterfly valves tend to be lower in cost thn other valve designs and are lighter in weight. 

The disc is positioned in the center of the pipe, which in turn is connected to a rod and finally to an actuator. Rotating the actuator turns the disc either parallel or perpendicular to the flow.
