VAF120 Air Series Variable Area Flow Meters are suitable for measuring the instantaneous flow rate of virtually any process gas. The operating principle of the variable area flow meter is simple to understand: the height within the tapered flow tube attained by the float is directly proportional to the flow rate of the process medial. The height of the float is measured against a calibrated scale on the flow tube which indicates the flow rate. Please note that the readings should always be taken from the centre of the ball. Technical Note: Standard accuracy is +/-5%, optionally +/-3% is available at extra cost but must be specified at time of order. |
