100mm Pneumo Depth Gauge - Premium "Mini" Design (Full Safety Pattern "S3")

The Ashford Instrumentation Ltd 100mm diameter Premium Mini Pneumo Depth Gauge has been designed for commercial diving companies measuring either diver depth or hyperbaric chamber pressure where a compact gauge is required with a measuring accuracy of  0.25% full scale.  These instruments are fully degreased for oxygen service and feature mirror band dials & knife edge pointers. This instrument complies fully with all the safety guidelines of European Standards EN 837 - 1 relating to pressure gauges for use on oxygen applications.

The instrument is only available with a steel case that is matt black powder coated as standard although a range of coloured bezels including red, green and yellow are available.  Zero adjustment is via the micro adjustable pointer that requires the bezel to be removed to access.

The premium design is classed as Full Safety Pattern to EN837-1 "S3" and features a solid baffle wall, blow out back and safety window.

The bourdon tube design is suitable for all gaseous and liquid media that are not highly viscous and that will not solidify, crystallize, attack or corrode beryllium copper or brass.

Dial is marked with the crossed oil can symbol in red and the wording OXYGEN. Please note that this gauge falls outside the minimum permissible accuracy class as defined in Table 1 of the European Standard  EN837-1 and therefore EN837 is not printed on the dial face.  As sea water scales do not have an Internationally recognised value, please note that all of our instruments are manufactured with a sea water specific gravity value of  1.025 which is marked on the dial.

Please note that this instrument can only be supplied as panel mount 3-hole front flange with lower back connection.

Technical Note: OXYGEN. IMCA D 022 Rev 1 (May 2014) Chapter 9 Gas Handling Section 9.6 notes that "Any gas mixture containing more than 25% oxygen by volume should be handled like pure oxygen"
