The Ashford Instrumentation Ltd 6" diameter stainless steel case pneumo gauge is available with either a 150mm or 160mm diameter case depending on the panel mount Pitch Centre Diameter (PCD) required and is a precision pressure gauge typically used for diver depth monitoring or for measuring the pressure within a hyperbaric chamber. The 150mm diameter case has a PCD of 168mm The 160mm diameter case has a PCD of 178mm. This premium design pneumo gauge features the ability to zero the pointer via an adjustment screw located on the front of the gauge and is ideal for commercial diving applications where an accuracy of 0.25% full scale is required. With an easy to read mirror band dial and knife edge pointer, this premium pneumo gauge is built to the highest engineering standards and is fully degreased with the dial marked with the crossed oil can symbol in red. Optionally the word OXYGEN can also be printed on the dial. In this instance we have the option of manufacturing the gauge with an internal solid baffle wall and large blow out back to meet the safety requirements as defined by the European Standard for Pressure Gauges EN837 S3 Safety. Technical Note: OXYGEN. IMCA D 022 Rev 1 (May 2014) Chapter 9 Gas Handling Section 9.6 notes that "Any gas mixture containing more than 25% oxygen by volume should be handled like pure oxygen". The 2023 IMO Diving Code lowers this threshold concentration for oxygen enriched environments from 25% oxygen (1995 code) to 22% oxygen (2023 code). Based on this information we recommend any application where the concentration of oxygen is enriched above 22% should be treated as a pure oxygen application. Please note that as sea water scales do not have an Internationally recognized value all of our instruments are manufactured with a sea water specific gravity value of 1.025 which is marked on the dial. As standard this instrument is supplied as 3-hole front flange with lower back entry although a bottom entry port is also provided as standard. To adjust from back entry to bottom entry simply remove the thread adaptor and screw into the bottom port. Surface mounting with 3-hole back flange mount is also available via optional additional flanges. Bezels can be manufactured in a range colours including red, green, and yellow. |
